Charge team member Barney Pauley has spent the last few months dedicating all his time in to organising his first ever jam, which takes place tomorrow (30th August) at Can Hall skatepark, East London. There will be loads of prizes and giveaways on the day supplied by us and our good friends over at Bounce BMX – check them out at bouncebmx.com, word on the street is they’re even giving out one of their slick mini BMX’s!
Everybody who wants to come along is welcome – from total newbies to pro riders. Bring your family and friends too because it is going to be a slamming day with lots of competitions, giveaways, prizes and jaw-dropping riding going on.
The competitions, designed to give youngsters a fighting chance but to really put the pros through their paces, include:
– Best Trick
There are free Mad Croc Energy drinks for all riders who come along and never-before-seen demos from pro riders. For somewhat of a main event, the Bounce BMX team will be handing a spanking new Bounce Mini BMX to the rider that performs the Best Trick.
Barney’s London BMX Jam is going to be an awesome day – a great opportunity to meet other riders, show off your skills and walk away with some new gear. It does not matter what you are riding either. Whether you have a BMX, mini BMX, Bounce BMX, Rocker BMX, Venom or whatever, what is important is that you SHOW UP and have FUN.
Sign in starts at 11 and closes at 12.30. Competitions start at 1.30. See you there!
