Charge welcomes BMX freestyler Paulo Carvalho to the team.

Paulo was born in Brazil and moved to ‘sunny’ England when he was ten. At twelve began skateboarding and when that stopped being a challenge he moved on. So took up Mountain biking always looking for a thrill and living on the edge.

Paulo explains how he got into BMX  “I saw a mate of mine BMXing, so I thought I’d give it a go… I haven’t looked back. Love the sport, the adrenalin and the personal competition to be the best. Being from Brazil I was so used to being free and out in the open air at one with the environment. When I bike it’s just me and the bike, I can go anywhere and do anything, I have made some amazing friends whilst riding and cannot imagine not being able to do what I love most.

To fund my obsession I have always fixed bikes, restored the discarded and along with working in a bike shop, I have now set up my own mini-business building and spraying bikes. I love to be creative with my work and give each bike a custom finish. I’m a fun, energetic guy who is passionate about biking and dedicated to success.
