Director Jake Sumner/Alldayeveryday and Channel 4 UK created the two part documentary series for television, “I Was There When House Took Over the World.” The film tells the story of how Disco’s death gave birth to the most iconic sound in dance music, House.

Whenever we walk passed a record shop we can’t help but have a quick dig through the crates and make a purchase but the next special guest at local club night Our House, Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy has the kind of collection we could only ever dream of.

She’s got a great ear for a good tune and always plays on an old custom rotary mixer that has the most beautiful sound.

If you’re in Norwich this weekend pop down to Gonzo’s Tea Room and see her play at Our House on Friday night.

We are delighted to be supporting George Evelyn (Nightmares on Wax) a.k.a DJ E.A.S.E. with clothing. Having been a big fan of his work, buying his records ‘Dextrous’ and ‘Aftermath’ in the early 90’s raving and mixing vinyl with my mates in my bedroom and parties around the block. George has just celebrated 25 years in the music industry by going on a world tour from the UK to Australia representing Charge clothing in the freshest clubs in the World playing an eclectic set of house, breaks, hip hop, jazz, funk and soul.
